Alliance Executive Governance & Intelligence System
AEGIS is the alliance command platform for military operations, economics, intelligence, diplomacy, training, announcements, schedules, permissions, and Discord coordination. What you can see depends on your alliance position and the AEGIS roles granted to your nation.
1. Overview
AEGIS is organized by department and function. Navigation is permission-aware, so ordinary members see member tools while leadership and department officers see the management tools assigned to them.
2. Access, Positions & AEGIS Roles
Your Politics & War alliance position is the first security layer. AEGIS then applies custom role permissions assigned by leadership.
3. Main Dashboard
After login, the dashboard is your command overview. It may show alliance status, DEFCON, military readiness, current activity, tasks, and notifications based on your access.
When AEGIS waits for a larger API request, the yellow radar screen means the system is still acquiring or synchronizing data.
The Notification Center supports unread tracking, category filters, search, marking all items read, and loading older activity without slowing the main dashboard.
4. Operations
Displays your assigned targets, commander notes, active War Plan assignments, and generic alliance targets.
A restricted Strategy Room for authorized planners. Once a plan is launched, members can see only their own assignments in War C&C without gaining Strategy Room access.
Tracks multiple enemy alliances/fronts during larger wars.
Evaluates eligible members using military readiness, offensive capacity, and defensive pressure. Applicants and Vacation Mode nations are excluded.
Live and recent wars, counters, targets, tasks, and AEGIS actions.
5. Counters & War Emergency Board
The Emergency Board watches defensive wars against trusted alliance members and helps MilCom determine counter coverage.
6. Economy
Economic Planner & Requests
Restricted to authorized Econ officers. They create, modify, and delete growth/grant programs and review member requests.
Grant Request
Program criteria can include one-time eligibility, Academy Graduate, cities, average infrastructure, average land, militarization, cooldowns, and required special projects.
7. Safekeeping
Safekeeping calculates deposits, withdrawals, and balances from P&W nation bank records. Raw bank-record activity is used server-side and is not displayed directly.
Econ officers can configure the transaction notes that count as deposits/withdrawals and may add offshore alliance IDs. Resources include Money, Coal, Oil, Uranium, Iron, Bauxite, Lead, Gasoline, Munitions, Steel, Aluminum, and Food.
8. Academy & Training
Authorized Academy managers can mark eligible alliance nations as Graduates. Applicants, unknown positions, and Vacation Mode nations cannot be tagged as graduates. Graduate status can satisfy Economy program Academy requirements.
9. Foreign Affairs
Foreign Affairs shows active treaty partners and active wars involving trusted members. War detail includes resistance, nation/military data, current offensive/defensive wars, and counter controls where applicable.
10. Intelligence
Intelligence and readiness functions use trusted alliance nations only. Applicant data is excluded from sensitive operational analysis, and strategic pages are permission-controlled.
11. Announcements & Schedules
Authorized administrators can create, edit, and delete announcements and scheduled operations.
Announcement and schedule updates create AEGIS notification events that the Discord integration can distribute.
12. Discord Integration
Use /link <nation_id> to link Discord to your P&W nation. The bot verifies the P&W nation's saved Discord username against the Discord account executing the command.
/whoami — show linked nation./testdm — test DMs./notifications — show notification preferences./notify — change notification category preferences./targets — show current War C&C / active War Plan targets./grantstatus — show recent economic requests./setgrantchannel — LEADER-only Econ request-channel configuration.13. Security & Information Visibility
AEGIS uses both frontend visibility rules and backend permission checks. Hiding a button is not considered sufficient security.
Restricted Strategy Room, campaign, intelligence, Economy management, and leadership data should remain unavailable to unauthorized members and applicants even through direct endpoint access.
Leadership should grant only the permissions required for a person's department responsibilities.
14. Troubleshooting
Check your alliance position and assigned AEGIS roles.
AEGIS is waiting on one or more data/API requests.
Run /whoami, /notifications, and /testdm, and confirm DMs are allowed.
The enemy may have no defensive slot, the member may be out of score range, in Vacation Mode, an applicant, or already counted as an active counter.
